About WWPN

Who We Are – Hannibal Square is a unique, urban neighborhood nestled between Beloit Avenue to the North, Fairbanks Avenue to the South, Highway 17/92 to the West and New York Avenue as the Eastern border.

West Winter Park Neighbors has come together as the result of hard work and commitment creating a nonprofit organization run by community volunteers.  We’re here to share our love for this community and its members. 

The goal of West Winter Park Neighbors is to preserve the value of our neighborhood and further the interests of the Community.

Why We Are Here – Hannibal Square is a historically Black community that played a significant role in the establishment and growth of Winter Park. Over time the face of the community has changed dramatically, and has become more diverse.

West Winter Park Neighbors is working to maintain our legacy and incorporate the changes that have occurred while keeping the sense of community that has long been a valued asset in the neighborhood.

Utilizing the guidelines of the Neighborhood Watch program, there are endless opportunities for the community members to bond through service, and become a stronger neighborhood through activities, information sharing and fun, informative, and educational presentations.

The goal of West Winter Park Neighbors is to come together as a community, to preserve the value of our neighborhood and further the interests of the residents.
